No.F.8(10)/2010-Cord.- In continuation of this Commission’s Notification of even number dated the 1st January, 2011 containing the Schedule of Bye-election in Constituency No. PK-69 Tank and in pursuance of the provisions of Article 6 of the Election Commission Order, 2002 read with Sections 11A & 19 of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 (LXXXV of 1976), and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, as well as keeping in view the Report dated 19-02-2011 received from Secretary, Home & Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, Report of District Coordination Officer, Tank, Report dated 22-02-2011 of the Provincial Election Commissioner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, regarding adverse law and order situation in Tank and the recommendations made by Ministry of Interior, dated 25-02-2011, the Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to re-fix the date of Poll for Bye-Election in the aforesaid constituency as 21st March, 2011 instead of 28th February, 2011, as notified earlier.
