No.F.6(3)/2007.- WHEREAS, Mrs. Farah Naz Ispahani W/o Hussain Haqqani was notified vide this Commission’s Notification of even number dated the 6th March, 2008, as returned candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian from the seat reserved for Women in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh;
AND WHEREAS, due to resignation of said Mrs. Farah Naz Ispahani W/o Hussain Haqqani, one seat reserved for women has become vacant in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh;
AND WHEREAS, in terms of Article 8F (3) of the Conduct of General Elections Order, 2002, next candidate on the Priority List of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian and list of Contesting Candidates drawn by the Returning Officer concerned on Form-V, is Mrs. Najma Saeed Chawla;
AND WHEREAS, the next candidate on Priority List of Pakistan People Party Parliamentarian for the said seat, Mrs. Najma Saeed Chawla W/o Mohammad Saeed Chawla has become eligible to be elected as returned candidate; and
NOW, THEREFORE, In pursuance of afore-mentioned provisions of law, the Election Commission of Pakistan hereby declares Mrs. Najma Saeed Chawla W/o Mohammad Saeed Chawla as returned candidate to the aforesaid vacant seat reserved for women in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, as per details given below:
