Islamabad, the 25th February, 2015.- A total number of 19 appeals have been filed against the decisions of the Returning Officers under Section 13(5) of the Senate Election Act, 1975, as per detail given below:

The above mentioned 19 appeals have been fixed for hearing by the Hon’ble Election Commission on 26-2-2015 at 09:00 AM and 11 appeals/application filed under section 13(6), 13(3)(c) read with section 84 of the Senate (Election) Act, 1975 have been fixed for hearing on 27-02-2014 at 09:00 AM in the Election Commission Secretariat, Islamabad. The appellants/objectors along with their counsels, if any, are requested to attend the hearing on the date, time and place mentioned above. The announcement of the day and time for the hearing of appeals in the press and electronic media shall be deemed to be sufficient notice.
