Appointments of Returning Officers and Polling Officers for the purpose of Senate Elections

 

Islamabad, the 30TH January, 2006

 

                No.F.3(1)/2006-Cord(1).-  In pursuance of section 5 and section 7 of the Senate (Election) Act, 1975 (LI of 1975) read with clause (3) of Article 224 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Chief Election Commissioner hereby appoints the following Returning Officers and Polling Officers for the purpose of election of seven members of the Senate from general seats, two members of the Senate from the seats reserved for women and two members for the seats reserved for Technocrats including Ulema, from each of the Provinces of the Punjab, Sindh, NWFP and Balochistan in place of the members of the Senate belonging to the first group, who are due to retire on completion of their three years’ term on 11th March, 2006:-
