BYE-ELECTION IN NA-26 BANNU POSTPONED - REVISED SCHEDULE ISSUED BY THE CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSIONER
Islamabad, the 10th February, 2007.- Chief Election Commissioner has called upon the electors of National Assembly constituency No. NA-26 Bannuto elect their representative to fill the seat from the said constituency which has become vacant due to death of Maulana Naseeb Ali Shah, MNA and to specify in relation thereto the following dates for bye-election:

It may be noted that according to the schedule announced earlier on 31-01-2007, the nomination papers were to be filed by the candidates on 12th and 13th February, 2007, and the poll were to be held on 14-03-2007, but on the request of Provincial Government the Chief Election Commission has revised the schedule.
