Bye-election of PK-95 Lower Dir
Islamabad, the 8th May, 2015: From reports on the Media, it is given to believe that Female voters in the recent bye-election of PK-95 Lower Dir, have been deprived of exercising their right of franchise. The Election Commission of Pakistan has shown grave concerned.
Before that any action is taken, the Chief Secretary, KPK and the District Returning Officer PK-95 Lower Dir should be directed to explain as to why and under what circumstances such deprivation has occurred. Meanwhile notices to the seven contesting candidates be also issued to explain the circumstances. Their reply/comments/ explanation are to be placed before the Commission on 14.05.2015.
