CEC ANNOUNCES NAME OF RETURNED CANDIDATE FROM PP-97 GUJRANWALA-VII

            Islamabad, the 24^th November, 2005.-   Mr. Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan has been pleased to publish the name of Mr. Muhammad Nasir Cheema S/o Ch. Khushi Muhammad Cheema, R/o House No.143, Sadar Bazar Area, Gujranwala Cantt, Gujranwala as a candidate returned to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab from the constituency No. PP-97 Gujranwala-VII as a result of bye-election held on 21st November, 2005. The returned candidate, Mr. Muhammad Nasir Cheema obtained 27542 votes while his runner-up Mian Ghulam Sarwar obtained 19,867.
