CEC DEPUTES A SENIOR OFFICER TO VISIT LARKANA FOR INVESTIGATING THE ALLEGATIONS LEVELED BY MOHTARMA BENAZIR BHUTTO.
Islamabad, the 19th July, 2007.- Mr. Justice (R) Qazi Muhammad Farooq, Chief Election Commissioner, on receipt of a complaint from Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Chairperson, Pakistan Peoples Party, has deputed a senior officer of the Election Commission Secretariat to visit her constituency i.e. constituency No.NA-207 Larkana-IV and submit his report.
2. Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, in her letter addressed to the Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner, has alleged that in Talukas Ratodero, Larkana, Bakrani and Dokri, thousands of voters are missing in the Draft Electoral Rolls published by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
