Change of date of poll for bye-election in Constituency No.PF-75 Lakki Marwat-II

 

Islamabad, the 23^rd December, 2005.

 

                        No.F.8(9)/2005-Cord.- At the request of Government of NWFP on the grounds that majority of the peoples of the constituency left for Hajj and circumstance of security, law and order in the relief and rehabilitation process in earth quake hit areas still exists, therefore in partial modification of this Commission’s Notification of even number dated the 26^th November, 2005, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under  section 11A read with section 108 of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 (LXXXV of 1976),  Article 254 of the Constitution and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner has been pleased to fix 16^th February, 2006 as the date of poll for bye-election in Constituency No.PF-75 Lakki Marwat-II   instead of 9^th January, 2006, as notified earlier.
