CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCES PROGRAMME FOR BYE-ELECTION IN NA-249 KARACHI-XI
Islamabad, the 19th July, 2007.- The Chief Election Commissioner, Mr. Justice (Retd) Qazi Muhammad Farooq has called upon the electors of National Assembly Constituency No.NA-249 Karachi-XI to elect their representative to fill the seat from the said Constituency, which has become vacant due to resignation tendered by Mr. Amir Liaquat Hussain, Member, National Assembly of Pakistan and Minister of State for Religious Affairs.
