Chief Election Commissioner hereby cancels this Commission's Notification No. 35(2)/2005 Elec(II), dated the 30th August, 2005 to the extent of M/s Junaid Khan and Muhammad Khalid, Nazim / Naib Nazim

             No.F.23(1)/2006-Elec(II)(1).- Pursuant to the Judgment, dated the 18th December, 2006 passed by the District & Sessions Judge, Haripur/ Election Tribunal, Abbottabad in Writ Petition No. 08-EP /2005 (Sohail Ayub Tanoli & another V. Malik Junaid Ahmed & others), in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 164 of the NWFP Local Government Ordinance, 2001 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner hereby cancels this Commission's Notification No. 35(2)/2005 Elec(II), dated the 30th August, 2005 to the extent of M/s Junaid Khan and Muhammad Khalid, Nazim / Naib Nazim from Union Council Sherwan, District Abbottabad as void. As such, the seats have become vacant.
