Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to notify that election held on the seat of Peasants/Workers (Women) of Union Council No.120

              No.F.3(3)/2006-Elec-I.- Pursuant to the Judgment, dated 07-12-2006 passed by the District & Sessions Judge/Election Tribunal for Hafizabad District in Election Petition No.38/2005 titled "Mst. Shahida Shaheen v. DRO, Gujranwala etc", in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 164 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance, 2001 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to notify that election held on the seat of Peasants/Workers (Women) of Union Council No.120, Adhorai, Khiali Shahpur Town, District Gujranwala has been declared as null and void. As" such the seat has become vacant with effect from 07-12-2006.
