CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSIONER OF PAKISTAN HAS RESTORED MIAN MUHAMMAD SHAHBAZ SHARIF AS RETURNED CANDIDATE FROM PP-48 BHAKKAR-II.

 

               Islamabad the 31^st March, 2009. -   Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan has stated that pursuant to the Order, dated the 31^st March, 2009 passed in C.M.A. Nos. 956 & 957 of 2009 in Civil Review Petition Nos. 61 & 62 of 2009, arising out of Civil Petitions Nos. 878 & 905 of 2008 (Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif vs. Federation of Pakistan and others), the Chief Election Commissioner has been pleased to recall Election Commission’s Notification, dated 25.2.2009, where by Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was de-notified as returned candidate from Provincial Assembly Constituency No. PP-48 Bhakkar-II vide Election Commission’s Notification, dated 3.6.2008.
