COMPUTERIZED ELECTORAL ROLLS, 2007 TO BE USED FOR ELECTIONS TO NATIONAL AND PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLIES CONSTITUENCIES AS WELL AS FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS.

Islamabad, the 26^th July, 2008.-   The Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan has been pleased to order that the Computerized Electoral Rolls, 2007 shall be used both for the conduct of Elections to the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies’ constituencies as well as for Elections to the Local Government Institutions. The Electoral Rolls, 2000-2001 prepared for Local Government Elections shall stand cancelled.
