(Date for Poll to the seat of Zila Nazim, Kharan District of Balochistan Province)
Islamabad, the 10th July, 2006.- In pursuance of Judgement, dated 26-6-2006 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan in Civil Appeal No.1157 of 2005 (Mir Ahmed Nawaz vs. Abdul Karim and three others), Chief Election Commissioner has fixed the 5th August, 2006 as the date for Poll to the seat of Zila Nazim, Kharan District of Balochistan Province.
2- The Chief Election Commissioner has further re-scheduled the election to the seat of Naib Zila Nazim, Kharan in view of serious law and order situation due to tribal disputes and local rivalries, as under:
