Subject:          DRAFT COMPUTERIZED ELECTORAL ROLLS ARE PUBLISHED AT YOUR DOOR STEP-CH. QAMAR-UZ-ZAMAN, PROVINCIAL ELECTION COMMISSIONER, SINDH.                      

                        Karachi, the 14^th June, 2007- Under Section 8 of the Electoral Rolls Act, 1974, the preliminary Draft Computerized Electoral Rolls, 2007 have been published and put on display in all over Pakistan on 12^th June, 2007. For this purpose, 28 Call Centres have been established through-out the Province of Sindh to facilitate the general public/eligible voters regarding quick information & response with their queries in connection with entries of their names in the Draft Electoral Rolls published. Over all 11,047 Display Centres have been established in Sindh Province, where public can check their entries at their door steps and even for the first time in the history of Pakistan, the name of Display Centres is also available on website www.ecp.gov.pk.

2.                     In order to make it easy for public the Call Centres would provide them necessary information about of Display Centres so that the public may get the voter lists literally checked at their door steps & solutions of their problems resolved at these call’s centres.
