ECP SEEKS DETAIL OF DUAL NATIONAL MP’s
Islamabad, the 29th August 2012. - The Election Commission has asked the public at large to provide concrete information, if any, to the ECP regarding dual nationality of any Senator, MNA or MPA.
In this connection, the Election Commission of Pakistan has written a letter to the Secretaries; National Assembly, Senate, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Provincial Assemblies of Punjab, Sindh, KPK and Balochistan to obtain the names of such Parliamentarians and Members of the Provincial Assemblies who have dual nationality and send this information to the ECP at the earliest possible, but not latter than two weeks.
