ELECTED NAZIMS AND MEMBERS OF ZILA COUNCILS, TEHSIL/TOWN COUNCILS AND NAZIMS/NAIB NAZIMS AND MEMBERS OF UNION COUNCILS IN ALL THE FOUR PROVINCES TAKE OATH OF OFFICE ON 17TH OCTOBER, 2005.

Islamabad, the 17th October, 2005.- Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Federal Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan said that as per Schedule announced by the Hon’ble Acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, all elected Nazims and members of Zila Councils and Tehsil/Town Councils as well as Nazims/Naib Nazims and members of Union Councils in all the four Provinces, except in respect of Mansehra, Battragram, Kohsitan, Shangla and Abbottabad districts of N-W.F.P. have been administered Oath on 17th October, 2005 by the Presiding Officers appointed for the purpose.

2. The Federal Secretary, Election Commission further said that Nazims and members of Zila Councils and Tehsil/Town Councils as well as Nazims/Naib Nazims of Union Councils in Mansehra, Battragram, Kohsitan, Shangla and Abbottabad districts of N-W.F.P. will, however, take Oath of Office on 19th October, 2005.
