Election Commission has been pleased to order that subject to re-calculation of seats in respect of Reserved Seats for Women from NWFP in the National Assembly, one seat shall stand allocated to Pakistan Muslim League

Islamabad, the 17^th March, 2008.- Pursuant to the Order, dated 14-3-2008 passed by the Peshawar High Court in Writ Petitions No. 218/08 (Saeed-ur-Rehman Vs Election Commissioner and others) and 223/08 (Dr. Afsar-ul-Mulk Vs Election Commissioner and others) and the Order, dated 17-3-2008 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Petition No. 331/2008 (Lt. Gen. ® Salahuddin Tirmizi Vs ECP, etc), the Election Commission has been pleased to order that subject to re-calculation of seats in respect of Reserved Seats for Women from NWFP in the National Assembly, one seat shall stand allocated to Pakistan Muslim League. Consequently, Farzana Mushtaq w/o Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, H/No. KL-508/3, Moh: Kehal Urban Abbottabad is hereby declared elected against one of the seats Reserved for Women in the National Assembly from NWFP according to the Priority List submitted by Pakistan Muslim League for the said seats.
