ELECTIONS POSTPONED IN CONSTITUENCY NO. NA-42 TRIBAL AREA-VII
Islamabad, the 13th February, 2008.- Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan has informed that the Election Commission has postponed the poll in Constituency No. NA-42 Tribal Area-VII, till further orders, in pursuance to the Reports, received from the Secretary (FATA), FATA Secretariat, Peshawar regarding law and order situation in South Waziristan Agency and in exercise of the powers under section 25 of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 read with Article 6 of the Election Commission Order, 2002.
