In order to study the Canadian Electoral System the Chief Election Commissioner and Secretary, Election Commission are proceeding to Canada on 22nd June, 2006.

         Islamabad, the 21^st June, 2006.-  On the invitation of Canadian Government, Mr. Justice (Retd.) Qazi Muhammad Farooq, Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan and Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Federal Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan will proceed to Canada on 22^nd June, 2006 in order to study the Canadian Electoral System during the period from 23^rd June to 1^st July, 2006. The delegation will discuss election principles and organization modalities with Canadian Election officials. Their visit will be useful for making improvement in electoral system of Pakistan.
