Islamabad, October 28, 2015.

It is clarified that no person shall convene, hold or attend any public meeting, and no person shall promote or join in any procession, within the area of any constituency and during a period of 48 hours ending at midnight of 29-10-2015 following the conclusion of the poll for the 1st Phase of Local Government Elections-2015 that are scheduled to be held on 31-10-2015. Any violation in this regard will amount to violation of law.

2. It is further clarified that expiry of CNIC does not invalidate the voters from casting their votes and from proving their identity before the Presiding Officer / Assistant Presiding Officer. Original Identity Card is meant for identification of voters only.
