               Islamabad, the 30th July, 2005.-          Mr. Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan is pleased to notify the following Programme for holding election of each category of *seats in Union Councils, namely, (1) Icherian, (2) Battal,    (3) Chattar plain and (4) Hilkot of district Mansehra of N-W.F.Province in Pursuant to the Judgment, dated 27-7-2005 passed by the Division Bench of the Peshawar High Court, Peshawar in Writ Petition No.1130/2005 (Muhammad Jan  & others Vs. Government of  N-W.F.P. & others) :

2.          The persons who earlier filed their nomination papers for the L.G. Elections within the limits of previous 5 Union Councils need not to file fresh nomination papers, if they wish to contest election in the limits of present four Union Councils by making correction in the nomination form of the name of Union Council, wherever required. However, the other persons desiring to contest election, will have to file their nomination papers alongwith candidature fee in accordance with law.

(iv)          Peasants and Workers (Women)
(v)           Minority communities.
(vi)          Nazim & Naib Nazim as joint candidates.
