No.F.1(1)/2005-Confd. ---WHEREAS, sub-section 42A of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 provides that every Member of an Assembly shall, on a prescribed Form, submit a statement of assets and liabilities of his own, his spouse and dependents annually to the Commission by the thirteenth day of September each year;
AND WHEREAS, the following Members of Provincial Assemblies of Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan having been failed to file the statements of assets and liabilities upto 15th October, 2005 ceased to function as Members of the said Assemblies in terms of sub-section (3) of section 42A ibid vide Notification No.F.1(1)/2005-Confd., dated the 15th October, 2005.

AND WHEREAS the above mentioned Members have now filed the statements of assets and liabilities with the Election Commission of Pakistan and the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan has been pleased to restore Membership of the above mentioned Members of the Provincial Assemblies of
Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan under sub-section (3) of section 42A of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 with immediate effect.
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the aforesaid provisions of law and in exercise of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to notify hereunder for publication in the official Gazette, subject to all just exceptions, for information of general public the annual statements of assets and liabilities for the financial year ending on the 30th June, 2005 of the above mentioned Members of the Provincial Assemblies of Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan as filed by them. Notification No.F.1(1)/2005-Confd., dated the 15th October, 2005 stands modified to the above extent accordingly.
