                        No.F. 3(3)/2006-Elec-I.- In exercise of the powers conferred upon him under the Local Government Elections Order, 2000 (Chief Executive’s Order No. 8 of 2000), in pursuance of the provisions of section 164 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance, 2001 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner hereby notifies, for information of general public, that the following Union Nazims and Naib Union Nazims of Gujranwala, Attock, Lahore and Toba Tek Singh Districts of the Punjab Province have died/resigned.  As such, their seats have become vacant with effect from the date of their death/resignation, as the case may be, mentioned against each as under and the said seats have been included in Annexure’A’ of the Programme of Bye-elections issued vide Notification No.F.3(3)/2006-Elec-I., dated the 8th April, 2006.

                        No.F.3(3)/2006-Elec-I.- In  exercise of the powers conferred upon him under the Local Government Elections Order, 2000 (Chief Executive’s Order No.8 of 2000) and in pursuance of the provisions of Section 164 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance, 2001 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to recall the Notification of even number, dated the 21st March, 2006 declaring the seats as vacant of Nazim and Naib Nazim, Union Council No.24-Dina-II, District Jehlum of the Punjab Proivnce. As such the said seats shall stand excluded from Annexure-‘A’ of the Programme of Bye-elections issued vide this Commission’s Notification No.F.3(1)/2006-Elec-I, dated the 8th April, 2006.

                        No.F.18(1)/2005-Elec-I.- Pursuant to the Judgment, dated 13-03-2006 passed by the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sheikhupura/Election Tribunal for Lahore District in Election Petition No.08/05(Dr. Husna Saadat  Vs R.O., Union Council No.81, Lahore and others), in pursuance of the provisions of Section 164 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance, 2001 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to notify, for information of general public, the name of Husna Saadat, as duly elected against the seat of Muslim General (Women) from Union Council No.81, Riwaz Garden (Data Ganj Bukhsh Town), District Lahore in place of Mst.
