Responsibilities /Assignments Of Monitroing And Evaluation (M&E) Wing

• Process the cases for appointment of District Monitoring teams in term of Section 234 of Election Act, 2017.
• Preparation and issuance of TORs after approval of authority for District Monitoring Teams.
• Keep close coordination with District Monitoring Teams and obtain reports of violation for onward placement before Election Commission on daily basis so as to apprise them regarding real picture on ground.
• Establishment Control rooms at ECP Secretariat to receive & resolved complaints directly from general public in connection with each Election/Bye Election.
• To constitute Special Monitoring Teams for Local Bodies Elections to the Cantonments Boards, as well as all Provinces.
• Development of training plan / curriculum of training of DMOs, MTs and monitoring personnel’s.
• Chalk out / devise the plan for the monitoring of various activities based on Monitoring policy and framework for the General Elections.
• Coordination with Provincial Election Commissioners (PECs) and all stakeholders for smooth conduct of Elections.
• To maintain a conducive environment for conduct of Elections, and to build public confidence in Electoral process by ensuring implementation of Code of Conduct.
• Any other duty assigned by the Authority.
