NOMINATION FORMS TO BE FILED PERSONALLY BY THE CANDIDATES FOR SENATE ELECTIONS TO CONCERNED RETURNING OFFICERS

Islamabad, the 4th February, 2006.- In response to several queries being made by the prospective candidates for the Senate Elections, Mr. Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Secretary Election Commission has clarified that the nomination forms are to be submitted personally by the candidates to the concerned Returning Officers at Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad. 2. Mr. K. M. Dilshad has further informed that the nomination papers will be accepted by the Returning Officers concerned between 11-13 February 2006 and their offices will remain open on Sunday the 12th February, 2006. The nomination papers will be accepted on all the three days during office hours i.e. between 8:00AM to 3:00PM
