FUNCTION OF PROVINCIAL ELECTION COMMISSIONER
WORKING OF THE OFFICE OF PROVINCIAL ELECTION COMMISSIONER BALOCHISTAN- Provincial Election Commissioner is responsible for making arrangements regarding conduct of free, fair and transparent Elections in the Province.
- Provincial Election Commissioner is the Head of Department and Controlling Officer regarding all financial matters pertaining to this office as well as Field offices in the Province.
- There are 02 Joint Provincial Election Commissioners, 03 Directors, 08 Regional Election Commissioners, 34 District Election Commissioners, 10 Deputy Directors, 01 Senior Law Officer, 17 Assistant Directors, 42 Election Officers and 02 Law Officer alongwith complementary staff working under the jurisdiction of Provincial Election Commissioner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Provincial Election Commissioner maintains the liaison between Election Commission’s Secretariat and Field offices for execution of policies/decisions of Hon’ble Commission.
- Provincial Election Commissioner provides the information to Hon’ble Commission as and when required.
- Provincial Election Commissioner is the Appointing Authority for BS-03 to BS-15 and their allied matter.
