Result of bye-election of N.A. 44-Tribal Area-IX

Islamabad, the 16th January, 2007.­ The Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan has published the name of Mr. Shahabud Din Khan, s/o Sher Muhammad Khan, resident of Pashat, Tehsil Salarzai, Bajaur Agency as a candidate returned to the National Assembly Constituency No. N.A. 44- Tribal Area-IX as a result of bye-election held on 10th January, 2007.

                The returned candidate, Mr. Shahabud Din Khan obtained 15322 votes while his runner-up Said Badshah obtained 4924 votes and Mr. Muhammad lhsanullah obtained 58 votes.
