NOTIFICATION
Islamabad the 13th March, 2008
No.F.6(3)/2007.- WHEREAS, Dr. Mahreen Razaque Bhutto D/o Abdul Razaque Bhutto and Ms. Shagufta Jumani D/o Haji Peer Muhammad were notified vide this Commission’s Notification of even number, dated the 6th March, 2008, as returned candidates of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian from the seats reserved for Women in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
AND WHEREAS, due to resignations of Dr. Mahreen Razaque Bhutto and Ms. Shagufta Jumani, two seats reserved for Women have become vacant in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
AND WHEREAS, in terms of Article 8F (3) of the Conduct of General Elections Order, 2002, next two candidates on the Priority List of Candidates provided by Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian and on the list of Contesting Candidates drawn by the Returning Officer concerned on Form-V, are as under:
(1) Aisha Khoso
(2) Shahmim Ara Panhwar
AND WHEREAS, the next two candidates of Priority List of Pakistan People Party Parliamentarian for the said seats, Aisha Khoso W/o Javed Ahmed Khoso and Shahmim Ara Panhwar W/o Dr. Hamz Ali Panhwar, have become eligible to be declared as returned candidates.
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of afore-mentioned provisions of law, the Election Commission of Pakistan hereby declares Aisha Khoso W/o Javed Ahmed Khoso and Shahmim Ara Panhwar W/o Dr. Hamz Ali Panhwar, as returned candidates from the aforesaid vacant seats reserved for Women in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, as per details given below:
