No.F.8(1)/2006-Elec.(1)- In exercise of the powers conferred upon him under the Local Government Elections Order, 2000 (Chief Executive’s Order No.8 of 2000), read with Section 150 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance, 2001, and Rule 8 of the Punjab Local Government Elections Rules, 2005, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to appoint the following Officers to act as District Returning Officers, Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers for conduct of Bye-Elections to the vacant seats of Union Nazims and Naib Union Nazims of the following districts in the Punjab Province:
