Schedule of General Elections 2013

 Islamabad, the 22^nd March 2013.-    The Election Commission has called upon the electors of the National Assembly Constituencies and the constituencies of the Provincial Assemblies of the Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan to elect their representatives from each of these constituencies to the general seats and in connection therewith appoints the following dates for various activities of election to the aforesaid Assemblies:

2.	Dates for filing of nomination papers with the Returning Officers by the candidates	24.03.2013 to 29.03.2013
3	Dates for Scrutiny of nomination papers by the Returning Officers	30.03.2013 to 05.04.2013
4.	Last date for filing of appeals against decisions of the Returning Officers rejecting/accepting the nomination papers	09.04.2013
5.	Last date for deciding appeals by the Tribunals	16.04.2013
6.	Last date for withdrawal of candidature	17.04.2013
7.	Publication of revised list of candidates	18.04.2013
8.	Polling day	11.05.2013

 

2.               The above mentioned Programme shall also apply to the seats reserved for Women and non-Muslims in the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies of the Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

                       

Note:- The offices of the Election Commission as well as the offices of District Returning Officers and Returning Officers will remain open on 23^rd, 24^th, 30^th, and 31^st March, 2013.
