                 Islamabad, the  3rd  August, 2005.-   Mr. Abdul Hameed Dogar, Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to notify the following Programme for holding election to the seats of Nazim/Naib Nazim of Union Council No.11-Dharoor Muslim, 12-Nangal Sadan, 13-Nangal Kaswala and 14-Khutiala Virkan of Tehsil Muridkey, District Sheikhupura of the Punjab Province.   Pursuant to the Order, dated 28th July, 2005 of the Lahore High Court, Lahore passed in Writ Petition No.13557-05, 13656-05 and 13556-05, the Local Government & Rural Development Department, Government of the Punjab issued Notification, dated 30th July, 2005 whereby Union Council No.11-Dharoor Muslim, 12-Nangal Sadan, 13-Nangal Kaswala and 14-Khutiala Virkan of district Sheikhupura have been re-delimited which has necessitated to revise the Programme for the conduct of election to the extent of candidates for the panel of Nazim and Naib Nazim in these four Union Councils of Tehsil Muridkey, District Sheikhupura (2nd Phase)

2-                 The persons who earlier filed their nomination papers for the seats of Nazim/Naib Nazim in the above said Union Councils need not to file fresh nomination papers, if their pair is not affected due to change in the limits of Union Councils and that they wish to contest election to the said seat. However, the other persons desiring to contest election, will have to file their nomination papers alongwith candidature fee in accordance with law.
