Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan leading a delegation to Indonesia
Islamabad, the 3rd July, 2009.- At the invitation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Indonesia, Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Federal Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan is leading a two members delegation to Indonesia to observe Presidential/ Parliamentary Elections from 4th to 10th July, 2009. Syed Sher Afgan, Joint Secretary (Elections) will be the other member of the delegation.
During his stay in Indonesia, Mr. Dilshad will have opportunity of meeting heads of other Election Commissioners particularly from SAARC and Far East Countries, who have also been invited by Indonesian Government. In the said meetings professional experiences will be exchanged and issues of mutual interest will be discussed, particularly those relating to on-going process of electoral reforms.
The Secretary, Election Commission of Pakistan is leaving for Jakarta, Indonesia today.
