Pursuant to the Order, dated the 25th February, 2009 passed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Civil Petition Nos. 778-779 of 2008 and CMAs No. 1674 & 1675 of 2008 in CP No. Nil/2008 (Mehr Zafar Iqbal vs Syed Khurram Shah and others), the Chief Election Commissioner has been pleased to recall this Commission’s Notification of even number, dated the 25th June, 2008 whereby Bye-Election in Constituency No. NA-123 Lahore-VI scheduled to be held on 26-06-2008 was stayed.
