The Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to rescind the notification containing Programme for conduct of bye-elections to fill the vacant seats of Balochistan Province on account of devastating earthquake

               Islamabad, the 30^th October, 2008.--  The Chief Election Commissioner is pleased to rescind the notification containing Programme for conduct of bye-elections to fill the vacant seats of Zila/City District/Tehsil/Town Nazims and members against the seats reserved for Women, Peasants/Workers and Minority Communities in Zila/City District/Tehsil/Town Councils to the extent of Balochistan Province on account of devastating earthquake which rocked various districts of the Province on 29-10-2008.
