The Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan has postponed the Schedule for Bye-Election in Constituency No. PP-82 Jhang-X

                Islamabad, the 21^st August, 2009.-   The Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan has postponed the Schedule for Bye-Election in Constituency No. PP-82 Jhang-X, till further orders, in view of the Report dated 21-8-2009, received from the Chief Secretary, Government of the Punjab and detailed briefing given by him regarding precarious law and order situation in the Province particularly the areas where by-elections are being held.  The fresh Schedule of Bye-Election in the aforementioned constituency will be issued later on.
