The Chief Justice of Pakistan has been pleased to nominate Mr. Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, a Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to act as Acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan from 26th July to 04th August, 2011.
No. F.3(13)/2010-Estt-I: - In pursuance of Article 217 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Chief Justice of Pakistan has been pleased to nominate Mr. Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, a Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to act as Acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan from 26th July to 04th August, 2011 during the visit abroad of Mr. Justice (R) Hamid Ali Mirza, Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan.
