The Election Commission calls upon the Members of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to elect to the Senate one Member from that Province against the seat reserved for Technocrats and Ulema

The Election Commission, in pursuance of Clause (5) of Article 224 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan read with sections 10 and 77 of the Senate (Election) Act, 1975 (LI of 1975), hereby calls upon the Members of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to elect to the Senate one Member from that Province against the seat reserved for Technocrats and Ulema, which has fallen vacant with effect from the 9th December, 2011 on account of resignation tendered by Senator Muhammad Azam Khan Swati and fixes in relation thereto, the following dates for the nomination of candidates, the scrutiny of nomination papers, last date for withdrawal of candidature and for the taking of the poll at the place noted below:
