                        Islamabad the 16th December, 2015 – The Election Commission of Pakistan has taken notice of the killing of four (04) persons in Sanghar District and directed the Chief Secretary and IGP Sindh to make sure that law and order situation is strictly watched and all possible efforts are made to maintain law & order before, during and after polling, so that polling on 17-12-2015 is held in peaceful atmosphere. The Election Commission on the request of Provincial Government of Sindh has also asked the Ministry of Interior for deployment of Rangers before and after the polling, so as to control the law and order situation. Furthermore, directions have also been issued that troops from Pak Army be made available as QRF in the area. The Chief Election Commissioner has also directed the Chief Secretary and IGP (Sindh) to be vigilant about prevailing situation in Sanghar and submit their report to the Commission by 4:00 PM today.
