Islamabad, the 06th May, 2016.— The first meeting of Gender and Disability Electoral Working Group was held in ECP secretariat today under the chairmanship of Mr. Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, Secretary, ECP.

2.         In his opening remarks, the Secretary ECP welcomed the participants of the meeting and observed that under the overall goal of gender mainstreaming of ECP, this Group will specifically focus on political and electoral participation of women and other marginalized groups of society including persons with disabilities and minorities.
