Islamabad, the 2nd August, 2005.- It has appeared in a section of Press today that some Union Nazims and Naib Union Nazims relating to a particular group have returned unopposed in Tharparkar and Umerkot Districts of Sindh Province.
2. Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Federal Secretary, Election Commission has said the Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner has taken notice of it and that in order to ascertain the truth, has directed the District Returning Officers/District and Sessions Judges of Tharparkar and Umerkot Districts to hold a fact-finding inquiry after having reports from concerned Returning Officers.
3. The Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner has directed all aggrieved persons to appear before the concerned District Returning Officer/District and Sessions Judge immediately preferably tomorrow the 3rd August, 2005.

Islamabad, the 2nd August, 2005.- Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad, Federal Secretary, Election Commission has said that the Chief Election Commissioner has been pleased to direct all District Returning Officers in the country to entertain complaints regarding election process, hold summary inquiry and dispose of such complaints in accordance with law.
2. All Law Enforcement Agencies in the country have also been directed to extend full cooperation to the District Returning Officers in holding aforementioned inquiries and disposal of complaints.
3. The Federal Secretary, Election Commission has further said that all aggrieved persons are advised to appear before concerned District Returning Officer/District & Sessions Judge along with their complaints and evidence for their disposal in accordance with law.
4. The Chief Secretaries and the Provincial Police Officers in all the four Provinces have also been directed to ensure that the District Returning Officers are provided full cooperation by all concerned in holding inquiries for the disposal of complaints.
