The Election Commission of Pakistan issued schedule for Presidential Election, inter alia, fixing the dates for withdrawal and the poll as 29th July, 2013 and 6th August, 2013 respectively. While deciding a pending case, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan fixed the dates for above activities as 27th July, for withdrawal and 30th July for the poll vide its order dated 24th July, 2013 passed in CP No.39/2013 and directed the Commission to revise the election schedule accordingly, which has already been issued on 24th July, 2013

The Election Commission of Pakistan has declared the names of the candidates returned elected as a result of Bye-Elections to the Senate of Pakistan against two General Seats from Balochistan Province fallen vacant due to the resignations tendered by Nawabzada Mir Haji Lashkari Raisani and Molana Muhammad Khan Sherani, for the un-expired term of their offices, which is due to expire on the 11th Marcy, 2015
